Geographical environment of Sansha village

Sansha Village is located in the southeast of Tung Chung Town. It is a low Shatian district composed of Maofeng, Si Long and Hefeng, so it is called Sansha. It faces Shagongbao Village in the east, shipai village in the south, Guantan Village in the west and Liu Qing Village in Shilou Town in the north across the river. According to Panyu Village Records, Sansha, Si Long and Hefengwei are alluvial deltas, which are formed by silting sand and sand beaches, and the formation time is about1821~1911year. The surnames of villagers are mainly Guo, Chen, Huang, Xing and Peng. Sansha Village belonged to Shabi Township, the first district in the early days of the People's Republic of China. 1953 belongs to Shipai Township. 1958 after the people's commune was established, it merged with Shagongbao to form Sansha Brigade. 197 1 year, Sansha Brigade was established separately from Shagongbao. 1984 changed to Sansha Township. 1987 changed to Sansha village. There used to be a turret built by the Japanese army in the village, located at the entrance of Sansha Village. Built in 1937, it collapsed in 1984 due to disrepair. At the end of Hefeng, there is a big banyan tree, which covers an area of one mu. According to textual research, this ancient fig tree has a history of 1 18 years and has been listed as a protected tree species. Historically, traditional agriculture dominated, mainly planting rice, bananas and aquaculture.
