1, personnel before the promulgation of the Law on Medical Practitioners

(1)1before June 26, 1998, those who obtained valid medical qualifications with the approval of the administrative department of traditional Chinese medicine at or above the county level may apply for taking the examination after passing the qualification examination, except those who did not apply for the qualification examination on June 26, 2000 and June 26, 2008;

(2) Before June 26th 1998, those who have been approved by the administrative department of traditional Chinese medicine at or above the county level, have real expertise and obtained effective medical qualifications, and can apply to take the examination after passing the qualification examination, except those who did not sign up for the qualification examination on June 26th 1999 and 2000.

2. Personnel after the promulgation of the Law on Medical Practitioners

(1) To apply for the qualification examination of Chinese medicine doctors, apprentices must have a high school education or equivalent; Having an apprenticeship contract and graduation certificate approved by the provincial administrative department of traditional Chinese medicine; Those who have been studying with the teacher for three consecutive years and applied to take the qualification examination for practicing doctors will be trained in medical institutions for two years under the guidance of practicing doctors after graduation; Those who apply to take the qualification examination for practicing assistant doctors must undergo a one-year probation period in medical institutions under the guidance of practicing doctors after graduation. Instructors must have the qualifications for senior technical positions in medical specialty and have been engaged in clinical work for more than 20 years;

(2) Having professionals who should have applied for the qualification examination of Chinese medicine doctors; Engaged in rural doctors for more than ten years, and confirmed by the provincial administrative department of traditional Chinese medicine with specialized medical skills;

(3) After obtaining the practicing certificate of practicing assistant physician, students who have worked in medical institutions for five years and have expertise under the guidance of practicing physician may apply for taking the qualification examination of traditional Chinese medicine doctors.
