According to official website, the Shaanxi Provincial Government, after the founding of New China, Yangling's administrative affiliation changed frequently. 1956 established Yangling Town, 1959 established Yangling Commune, 1979 established Yangling Special Zone, and 1982 changed its name to Yangling District, which belongs to Baoji City. Yangling Demonstration Zone generally refers to Yangling District, referred to as Yangling District or Yangling Demonstration Zone for short. It belongs to Shaanxi Province and is located in the middle of Guanzhong Plain in Shaanxi Province. It is the first agricultural high-tech industry demonstration zone in China.
