Yixing has two state-level economic and technological development zones-China Yixing Environmental Protection Science and Technology Industrial Park and Yixing Economic and Technological Development Zone, 1 provincial development zone-Jiangsu Yixing Ceramic Industrial Park, 13 towns, 5 streets, 2 13 administrative villages and 97 communities. The municipal government is located at No.8 Taodou Road, Yicheng Street.

Yixing has jurisdiction over five streets: Yicheng Street, Qiting Street, Xinjie Street, Xinzhuang Street and Fangqiao Street. Among them, Qiting Street is entrusted to Yixing Economic Development Zone for management; Xinjie Street is entrusted with the management of Huanke Park. 13 Town: Dingshu Town, Zhang Zhu Town, Zhuxi Town, Taihua Town, Xushe Town, Guanlin Town, Xiang Yang Town, Xinjian Town, Heqiao Town, Gaocheng Town, Shiwan Town, Zhou Tie Town and Khufu Town.
