Most of the students do not understand the teaching methods we use now, such as applied behavior analysis, play therapy, social integration, etc. These are very important. Study with your heart. At least you won't be able to find a job. These are not only useful for special students, but also for normal students.

Secondly, have you ever paid attention to special children? They are not stereotyped pictures, nor are they just cold numbers. They also love to laugh and cry. I entered the industry occasionally, and now I am very I like my students very much. Of course, I also have colleagues who are unwilling to resign after only working for a few months. They just can't accept children with special needs, and I think that's understandable.

Again, returning to the issues of identity and career, at least no one thinks there is anything wrong with me doing this, but it may be because I am in a public institution. The country’s finances are now tilted towards this aspect. There are many financial supports at the municipal and county levels to set up rehabilitation institutions. The demand will still be huge in the future, and the wages and benefits should be pretty good. I have a classmate who started a business in Hangzhou with several colleagues, and the prospects are still there. Yes, you can mainly do national projects and have funding.

Finally, no matter what major you are in, people who learn well and do well never need to care about what others say. In the final analysis, it is just that they are too strong. Think about it, what have you paid for what you are studying? Have you understood the current situation of the industry and the people who will become your students? The more you understand, the fewer questions you will have and you will be able to explain things to others. If it really doesn't make sense, let them explain. We cannot require everyone to be mentally mature enough to tolerate vulnerable groups.

Special education requires a strong will, and there is also a shortage of professionals. If you feel that it is really unbearable, you can do early childhood education in this major, which is actually quite good.
