2. Specific internship situation
After many negotiations with the company, I finally got the company’s permission and was fortunate enough to visit the company and conduct a four-week internship in the company. When entering the company, we first learned that the company organization consists of six departments: business department, production department, finance department, purchasing department, management department, and technology department.
According to the business department, the current business work is mainly divided into two parts. One part is to track the order status of existing customers, especially the daily orders, shipments, and quality of large customers. The other part is to develop new customers, introduce the company's products to relevant enterprises based on existing information, and promote products.
I think the company’s business division is very reasonable, because when there are stable customers, it is also necessary to develop new customers. However, the development of new customers requires the manufacture of related molds, which are expensive. However, this customer has many unstable factors and cannot ensure long-term cooperation. Instead of investing resources in uncertain business, it is better to invest more resources in transforming equipment. Or build a good relationship with original customers to seek longer-term cooperation. Therefore, the work principles and policies of an enterprise are determined by the actual needs of each enterprise and are not copied numbly.
Production is the basic department of the company. According to employees in the production department, there are many types of production and it is relatively complex. As long as the product is designed and finalized, the production department will be responsible for producing the parts that can be produced, and then put the finished product into the warehouse and wait for the sales department personnel to arrange shipment.
The main job of the technical department is to design the overall packaging, which is the main core part of the company. Design product packaging according to customer information and requirements. During the design process, in order to make the design more in line with customer requirements, the technical department often needs to communicate face-to-face with customers, or go to the customer's company to see actual products and conduct on-site dimensional measurements. At the same time, the work of the technical department also includes mechanical inspection, maintenance, and adjustment. The professional knowledge level of technical personnel is relatively high, and the responsibilities they shoulder are relatively large. I suggest that the company can regularly organize employees to participate in various training courses to improve production capacity.
After getting to know the factory situation, I conducted practical operations in the production department and technical department for a period of time. In the production department, I follow the instructions of the master to switch the machine on and off, stop the machine in an emergency when necessary, and press the relevant buttons when needed. I have to admit that my practical ability is poor and I often make mistakes, which sometimes delays the progress of other processes. Despite this, the master patiently pointed out the causes of errors for me, analyzed the correction methods, and demonstrated the operation for me many times. Sure enough, using the tricks taught by my master, my operation progressed very quickly, catching up with other people's operations step by step, without delaying the normal operation of production. In the technical department, my solid theoretical knowledge and skillful use of CAD came in handy. Based on the drawings given by the master and customer requirements, I displayed the data in the CAD drawings, printed out the drawings I made, and handed them to the production department. , they can produce as usual. My colleagues in the technical department are very friendly to me and often give me suggestions for working more efficiently, which has benefited me a lot. Chapter 2
