Last year, the national unified examination for customs declarers began, but in the qualification examination for customs declarers for two consecutive years, foreign trade practitioners were extremely low, while the qualification threshold for entry-exit customs declarers was raised. According to the relevant provisions of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, in order to improve the quality of inspection and quarantine personnel, before June 30, 2005, the existing certificates of inspection and quarantine personnel in local inspection and quarantine institutions ceased to be used, and those who did not take the "unified national examination for the qualification of inspection and quarantine personnel" and obtained the "certificate of inspection and quarantine personnel" no longer have inspection qualifications and may not engage in inspection and quarantine business.
