Legal analysis: the first thing to recruit firefighters is age. The age requirement for volunteering to join the fire rescue team is 18 years old and under 24 years old. With high school education or above, bachelor degree or above can be relaxed to 26 years old. Graduates with college degree or above, retired soldiers of the People's Liberation Army and Armed Police Force, and qualified personnel in the government (enterprise) full-time fire brigade can be given priority. Bachelor degree or above can be relaxed to 26 years old; The age of special professionals in urgent need of fire fighting and rescue work may be further relaxed with the approval of the emergency management department.

Legal basis: Article 16 of the Regulations on the Administration of Soldiers and Non-commissioned Officers in Public Security Fire Fighting Forces: (1) Volunteering for the construction of fire fighting forces; (2) Being competent for the work; (3) Graduated from junior high school or above; (4) Being in good health; (5) Having received training from the corresponding training institutions or schools of units above the detachment level; (six) selected senior noncommissioned officers, must be in the current annual assessment (inclusive) above, with the corresponding professional skills, and through the professional and technical level assessment; Those who have obtained the "Professional Qualification Certificate" issued by the state and have served as squad leader, deputy squad leader or equivalent squad leader and meet the conditions for selecting non-commissioned officers shall be given priority.
