1. Recruitment plan and organization:

With the approval of the Ministry of Emergency Management, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the national comprehensive fire rescue team will face the society in 2023 Recruit 15,000 firefighters (35 women), including: 5,000 recent college graduates (22 women), 5,000 retired soldiers, and 5,000 young people (13 women).

The Firefighter Recruitment Office of the National Comprehensive Fire Rescue Team organizes and implements the recruitment work in a unified manner, and the provincial Firefighter Recruitment Offices are responsible for the specific recruitment work.

2. Recruitment conditions and scope:

Possess the nationality of the People's Republic of China; abide by the Constitution and laws, and support the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the socialist system; Volunteer to join the national comprehensive fire rescue team; have a high school education or above; be physically and mentally healthy; have good conduct; and other conditions stipulated by laws and regulations.

Age is over 18 years old and under 22 years old. For personnel with a college degree or above, retired soldiers from the People's Liberation Army and Armed Police Force, full-time government firefighters and full-time government forestry fire-fighting personnel with more than 2 years of practical experience in fire fighting and rescue, the age can be relaxed to 24 years old.

For special professionals urgently needed for fire rescue work, the age can be further relaxed with the approval of the Ministry of Emergency Management, and in principle they shall not exceed 28 years old.

Physical examination and assessment test:

1. Physical examination:

Conducted at designated comprehensive hospitals above the municipal level. The standards refer to the "Physical Examination of Citizens for Recruitment" "Standards" (land service personnel) shall be implemented, and those who fail to meet the requirements will not be recruited.

If the recruitment candidates have questions about the physical examination results and apply for re-examination, they can undergo a re-examination with the consent of the provincial firefighter recruitment office, and the physical examination results shall be subject to the re-examination conclusion.

Items that can affect the test results through taking drugs or other treatments will not be retested. Based on the special requirements of the fire rescue profession, those who have been assessed as having a disability level and have treatment records for serious injuries and illnesses, etc. who are not suitable for fire rescue work will not be recruited.

2. Assessment test:

1. Political assessment. Refer to the requirements for political assessment for conscription.

2. Physical fitness test and job adaptability test. Implemented in accordance with the "National Comprehensive Fire Rescue Team 2023 Firefighter Recruitment Physical Fitness Test, Job Adaptability Test Projects and Standards".

The physical fitness test is quantitatively scored. The effective score for each item is 1 to 15 points (those without valid scores will not be admitted), and the total score is up to 40 points. If the individual scores of the job adaptability test do not meet the "average" standard, they will not be recruited.

3. Psychological test. The psychological test is conducted using the Firefighter Recruitment Psychological Test System, and the system automatically determines "passed" or "unqualified".

4. Interview. The interview is implemented with reference to the public recruitment practices of public institutions, and quantitative scoring is implemented. The full score is 100 points, and those with less than 60 points are "unqualified".
