Brief introduction of Xin' anjiang dam

Xin 'anjiang Dam, namely Xin 'anjiang Hydropower Station, is located near Tongguan Town, Jiande County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. ? On Xin 'an River, a tributary of Qiantang River, it is 0/70km away from Hangzhou/KLOC. Xin 'anjiang Hydropower Station is the first large-scale hydropower station in China to survey, design, construct and manufacture equipment by itself, which reflects the level of hydropower construction in China in the 1950s.

The project started in April 1957, and the 1 unit generated electricity in April 1960. The total installed capacity of the power station is 662.5 MW, the guaranteed output is 178 MW, and the average annual power generation for many years is18.6 billion kWh. The power station is mainly responsible for peak regulation, frequency modulation and emergency standby of East China Power Grid, and has comprehensive benefits such as flood control, irrigation, shipping and aquaculture.

Xin 'anjiang Dam Hub consists of dam, overflow powerhouse, switch station and flood discharge structure. The dam is a concrete gravity dam with wide joints. The dam body is divided into 26 dam sections with a length of 466.5 meters. No.0 to No.3 and No.24 to No.25 dam sections are solid gravity dams, and only one side of No.4 and No.23 dam sections has wide joints.
