In the Yuan Dynasty, Tianqing Temple was renamed as Xuanmiao Temple, and the street name was immediately changed to Qian Miao Temple, which later evolved into Qian Qian Street.

In the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), Guanqian Street was widened and rebuilt.

After liberation, Guanqian Street was expanded and rebuilt many times, with small square stone pavement first and asphalt pavement later, and the street width gradually increased to 9- 13m.
