On November 19, our school held the sixth-grade choir selection competition as scheduled in the music classroom. Many contestants came to the music classroom early and were fully prepared for the competition.

Obviously, those who come to participate in the trial are all students with beautiful singing voices in the class. It seems that the competition in this trial will be fierce. Some students were a little nervous, but after a while, they finally calmed down.

At four o'clock sharp, Teacher Huang Menglin and Teacher Ma Xun appeared at the door of the music classroom on time. Teacher Huang Menglin will be in charge of this selection, and teacher Ma Xun will be the piano accompanist. After some discussion, the teacher decided that the song for this audition would be "Lovely Home". This song is an old Scottish folk song. Its beat is four-four beats. The singer needs to sing the song peacefully, otherwise he will not be able to understand the emotion in the song.

After practicing for a while, the students were all confident and knew the melody by heart.

At this time, Teacher Huang said that this selection will select the best 10-13 people to enter the choir. This selection has three requirements:

1. Tone Accurate

2. Loud voice

3. Suitable for chorus

Those who meet all the above three points will have the opportunity to enter the choir.

At five o'clock sharp, the selection ends. There are 6 people who will enter the choir of our school in this selection. They are: Li Ruoyun and Ge Yingjie from Class 6 (1), Shangguan Xueer from Class 6 (2), Zheng Enqi and Jing Yu from Class 6 (4). Teacher Huang commented: "This selection was not as good as expected. Only 6 talents were found. I originally expected that the sixth graders, who I brought up from the third grade, would be able to enter the choir. There should be a lot of singing talents, so I specifically mentioned the maximum number of people to 13.
