Pujiang plans to connect the subway express line with the highest speed of 140 km/h with Tianfu New District.

On August 14, the reporter learned from Pujiang County Transportation Bureau that in the "Chengdu New Round of Rail Transit Network Planning Revision Plan" led by Chengdu Planning Bureau, it has been confirmed that Pujiang County has a subway line in the long term, and the connection scheme is the east-west extension line of Tianfu New District (Weibo) (the subway express line mode operates, with the highest running speed 140 km). The route starts from Xinjin Taiping Station, passes through Shou 'an Town and Heshan Sub-district Office of Pujiang County, and enters Pujiang Station of Chengpu Railway under construction.

This line is a long-term planning line of Chengdu rail transit, and the planning and construction period is after 2030. At present, Pujiang County has established Pujiang County Urban Rail Transit Construction Headquarters to strive for the early implementation of the 12 branch line.

In addition, as the fifth high-speed railway in Chengdu, Chengpu Railway is expected to open to traffic this year. After Chengdu-Pudong Railway is opened to traffic, Chengdu semi-fast iron ring will also take shape.

"Chengpu Railway has many functions, such as urban public transportation and intercity rail transit. From the west of Chengdu, it passes through Wenjiang, Chongzhou, Dayi, Qionglai and Pujiang to Chaoyang Lake, along which there are Chengdu West, Shuangliu North, Wenjiang, Ma Yang, Chongzhou, Longxing, Dayi, Wang Si Town, Qionglai, Xilai and Pujiang. According to the relevant person in charge of Chengdu Communications Commission (Weibo), at present, Chengdu-Pudong Railway has been laying ballastless tracks, and stations along Chengdu West Railway Station, Wenjiang Railway Station and Dayi Railway Station are also under construction.

It is understood that Chengpu Railway is designed as a passenger dedicated line with a total length of about 99 kilometers. This is a new double-track railway. The standard is a first-class electrified railway. This train is designed to have a top speed of 200 kilometers per hour. It will take half a trip from Chengdu West Railway Station to Pujiang. After visiting Shixiang Lake and tasting Daoxiang Duck, the distance between Pujiang and Chengdu will be very close.
