There are six kinds of official offerings in Buddhism, namely "incense, flowers, lamps, paintings, fruits and music". From the perspective of fire safety, incense and lamps can also be replaced by electronic ones.

The water used for worship must be clean and pure, that is to say, the learner's heart should be as clean, calm and spotless as water. In order to prevent insects from entering the water by mistake and hurting their lives, it is best to add a cup cover to the cup. After the Buddha's sacrifice, water can be poured into another cup for people to drink or for evil spirits.
