Yongzhou Vocational and Technical College is located at No.289 Yongzhou Avenue, Lingling District, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province.

Yongzhou Vocational and Technical College was approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education in July 2000. It was formed by the merger and upgrading of Lingling Health School and Lingling Agricultural School. In order to integrate Yongzhou's educational resources, in June 2003, with the approval of Hunan Provincial People's Government, Lingling Commercial School, Lingling Normal School and Lingling Technical School merged.

The school has set up 35 higher vocational majors, enrolling students from 27 provinces and cities across the country. National teaching team 1 team, 3 provincial teaching teams, 2 national teaching reform pilot majors and 6 national key construction majors.
