Secret: What is the tragic ending of Song Huizong and Song Qinzong?
As for the two conquered kings, what happened in the north? How did you die? We don't know. Traditional official history is secretive and vague about these issues. The History of Song Dynasty simply said to Hui Zong: Jiazi, a native of Shaoxing, died in Wu Guocheng in April of five years, aged fifty and four. The death of Qin Zong is even more ambiguous: in May of the thirty-first year of Shaoxing, Xin Mao, the emperor collapsed and asked. That is, hearing a message. As for how and where he died, he didn't say anything. But yes, after all, it's not about showing your face. The less you say, the better.
I have nothing to do recently. I just flipped through the book, flipped through Yongle Dadian (incomplete volume), and saw two very interesting articles. The titles of the books are "Record of Stealing Anger" and "Record of Continued Stealing Anger". It describes in detail the tragic experiences of two families in Qin Hui after they arrived in Wu Guocheng. After investigation, the author of the article is Xin Qiji, a great poet in the Southern Song Dynasty.
Through these two articles, I know something I didn't know before. Give the following examples:
First of all, Hui Zong didn't die in Wu Guocheng.
1 127 (the fifth year of Emperor Taizong of Jin Dynasty), Emperor Qin Hui was captured and transported to Huining, the capital of Jin State (now Nanbaicheng, Acheng County, Heilongjiang Province), by Jin people, thousands of royal families, empresses and others, as well as workshop musicians and craftsmen.
1 128 (six years of Jin Tianhui), Jin Taizong ordered his father and son to meet in plain clothes at the ancestral temple. Then they were named Duke of Drunk and Hou of Severe Drunkenness. In the same year, he moved to Hanzhou (now the northern part of Siping, Jilin).
1 130 (the eighth year of Tianhui), moved to Wu Guocheng (now yilan county, Heilongjiang).
According to Jin Shi, Song Huizong died in the 13th year of Jin Tianhui (1 135), which is consistent with Songshi. Besides, I had never been anywhere before I died. In this way, Hui Zong should have died in Wu Guocheng. The mainstream view of historians also thinks that Hui Zong died in Wu Guocheng.
However, in The Robbery of Anger, Qin Hui's two cases were also moved to Zhou Jun, and Song Huizong finally died in Zhou Jun. It took a lot of effort to find out where Zhou Jun was. Later, I searched the Atlas of Chinese History according to the characters in the article. I guess Zhou Jun should be in Kezuo Houqi, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia.
In The Record of Stealing Anger, the crimes suffered by Hui Zong and Qin Zong and his party on their way to Zhou Jun are described in great detail: the sky is dark, the road is difficult to separate, the foothills are bleak and rainy, and the fox cries sadly; At night, the jack-o'-lantern flies freely and stays endlessly. They all sat on the ground until dawn. Walking in the mud, taking off your shoes, walking barefoot on the gravel road, bleeding between your toes, too painful to walk; And toxic gases. Along the way, there were 30 people (all of them were plundered from Yanjing after Liao's death, and all of them were prisoners). Their status is higher than that of the two fallen kings, and they also have the obligation to take care of them. When they arrived at Zhou Jun, half of them were dead.
When he arrived in Zhou Jun, Hui Zong was very ill. His throat was festering and he couldn't eat. Those accompanying people moved him to a low-lying wetland to live, which aggravated his illness. This lasted less than a year. One day, Qin Zong went to see his father and saw Hui Zong sitting in a pit and dying.
Qinzong was afraid and asked to be buried. However, the local people said that it could not be buried. Everyone who dies here will be burnt to a semi-coke, then beaten with a wooden stick, and finally thrown into a big puddle, so that the water in the pit can be ignited. Qinzong witnessed his father being burned to death and thrown into a puddle, crying to jump in, and being hugged hard, saying that if there was a stranger into the pit, the water in the pit would be clear and could not be used as lamp oil.
A fatuous and decadent emperor without personality; An outstanding painter and calligrapher died in this way. What kind of beautiful flame should the lamp oil turn out from an artist like him? How cruel and romantic it is!
