What does social security interrupt mean?

Social security interruption is a phenomenon that no payment is made every other month during the payment period, which is called social security interruption.

When calculating the pension insurance benefits, the average payment wage index of the basic pension should be included in the index during the interruption of payment, and the payment wage index during the interruption of payment is zero. The calculation formula of the average payment wage index is:

Average payment wage index of interrupted payer = sum of payment wage indexes of all payment years ÷ (all payment years+interrupted payment years)
