Can maternity insurance be reimbursed if social security is interrupted for one month?

Workers cannot apply for maternity insurance after social security is suspended for one month.

Maternity insurance reimbursement process refers to the procedure that employers and employees themselves reimburse maternity medical expenses, maternity allowance and other expenses of female employees and nursing leave allowance of male employees' spouses during childbirth to the overall regional maternity insurance fund.

Maternity insurance reimbursement procedure is a social insurance system in which the state and society provide medical services, maternity allowance and maternity leave when pregnant and childbirth female workers temporarily stop working, and the state or society gives necessary economic compensation and medical care to maternity workers. Maternity insurance benefits in China mainly include two items.

Employees who enjoy maternity insurance benefits shall meet the following conditions:

1. The employer has paid more than 1 year for employees and continues to pay;

2, in line with national and provincial population and family planning laws and regulations.

The application procedures for maternity insurance benefits for employees shall be handled by the employer with the relevant certificates issued by the local township (street) population and family planning institutions to the local social insurance agency. Among them, those who apply for maternity allowance or one-time maternity nutrition allowance shall also hold certificates of birth, death or termination of pregnancy.

Application materials required to be submitted by the employer:

1, social insurance registration form;

3, enterprise employees basic pension, work injury and maternity insurance declaration summary table.

The application materials to be submitted by the maternity female worker:

1, the family planning certificate issued by the family planning department (original and photocopy);

2. Birth (death) certificate issued by the medical department (original and photocopy);

3. My ID card (original and photocopy) of female workers and family planning operators;

4. Approval Form for Maternity Medical Certificate of Enterprise Employees;

5, enterprise employees family planning surgery medical certificate application form;

6, enterprise employees maternity medical expenses reimbursement application form;

7, maternity insurance benefits of enterprise employees approved settlement table;

8, enterprise employee maternity insurance field medical application form;

9, maternity medical bills, cost list, outpatient medical records, discharge summary and other raw materials;

10, receipt.

Materials to be submitted by male employees whose spouses have given birth:

1, the family planning certificate issued by the family planning department (original and photocopy);

2. Birth (death) certificate issued by the medical department (original and photocopy);

3. Male employee ID card (original and photocopy);

Maternity medical expenses that female employees should apply for from pregnancy to delivery or termination of pregnancy;

Female workers apply for maternity allowance, one-time maternity nutrition allowance and medical expenses for maternity treatment in different places within 1 year after giving birth or terminating pregnancy;

The cost of family planning operation shall be applied before operation;

Male employees should apply for holiday allowance within 1 year after their spouses give birth.

If it fails to bid within the time limit, the social insurance agency will not accept it.

If the employer fails to handle maternity insurance benefits for its insured employees in the local social insurance agency within the prescribed time limit, the maternity insurance benefits for employees shall be paid by the employer in accordance with the overall regional treatment items and standards.
