According to the regulations of the National Bureau of Statistics, the base of social security contributions is determined according to the monthly average amount of all wage income of employees in the previous year 1 to 12. Wage income includes relatively fixed income such as basic salary, bonus and allowance, but does not include non-fixed income such as year-end bonus and other incentive income. The year-end bonus is not included in the social security payment base.
