Must we stop the new rural cooperative medical system when paying social security?

There is no need to stop the new rural cooperative medical system to pay social security. Social security is not directly related to the new rural cooperative medical system, so there is no problem of asking friends that must be stopped. However, under normal circumstances, it is not recommended to pay social security and the new rural cooperative medical system at the same time, because when you are hospitalized, social security and the new rural cooperative medical system cannot be reimbursed at the same time. The new rural cooperative medical system generally refers to the farmer medical mutual aid system which is organized, guided and supported by the government, in which farmers voluntarily participate, individuals, collectives and governments raise funds in various ways, and takes the form of individual payment, collective support and government funding to raise funds.

Article 10 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Social Insurance Law

Employees shall participate in the basic old-age insurance, and the employer and employees shall jointly pay the basic old-age insurance premium.

Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in the basic old-age insurance in the employer and other flexible employees can participate in the basic old-age insurance, and individuals pay the basic old-age insurance premium.

The measures for the endowment insurance of civil servants and staff managed by reference to the Civil Service Law shall be formulated by the State Council.
