Does the social security base have to be declared every year?

Legal analysis: the employer shall report the payment to the local social insurance agency within the prescribed time limit on a monthly basis, and the reporting items include:

(1) Name, organization code, address and contact information of the employer;

(two) the employer's bank, account name and account number;

(three) the employer's insurance, payment base, rate and payment amount;

(four) the roster of employees and the payment of employees' wages;

(five) other matters stipulated by the social insurance agency.

In a payment year, after the initial declaration by the employer, the remaining months can only declare the changes in the matters specified in the preceding paragraph; If there is no change, it may not be declared.

The employer shall not conceal or omit the payment base, otherwise it may receive the Notice of Paying Social Insurance Premium within a Time Limit.

Every year from June 5438+0, the insured unit shall report the social insurance payment base of the next settlement year to the municipal social insurance fee collection management center or the district social insurance agency (hereinafter referred to as the social insurance agency) that handles the insurance registration.

Legal basis: Article 58 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Social Insurance Law. The employing unit shall handle social insurance registration for employees within 30 days from the date of employment. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay. Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration. The state establishes a national unified personal social security number. Personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.
