If the medical insurance card expires and can't be used any more, you need to go to the medical insurance center to reissue a new one. The money in the personal account of the medical insurance card will be transferred regularly every month. If the money hasn't arrived, it won't come out naturally. At this time, you can only wait for a period of time, and you can use it normally after the account transfer is successful.

The medical insurance card is handled as follows:

1. The insured person brings his/her valid certificate and applies to the neighboring county medical insurance center, and the county medical insurance center will settle the account on the spot;

2. The insured person can also apply to the adjacent street medical insurance service point for handling, and the service point will settle within 3 working days. The insured person shall receive the medical insurance card at the service point within the specified time;

3. The insured may entrust others to handle it on his behalf. Customers need to carry valid certificates of themselves and the insured when handling;

4. When the employer handles it centrally, it can go to the county medical insurance center with the employer's letter of introduction and the valid certificate of the handling personnel, and then the employer will issue medical insurance cards to the insured.

To sum up, the balance in the medical insurance card is used up in the current year, and the balance over the years can also be used. When the medical expenses are settled, the arrears over the years will be automatically deducted.
