First, maternity insurance can be reimbursed after it has been paid for more than one year.
Two, first of all, we must meet three conditions in order to receive maternity insurance:
1. On-the-job personnel must pay insurance premiums according to regulations. Maternity insurance premium has been paid at the time of childbirth 12 months or more, and the month of childbirth and the month of paying maternity insurance premium are not counted. (Accumulated 12 months is enough, without continuous payment); Apply for abortion or family planning operation subsidies, must pay maternity insurance in the month;
2, in accordance with the provisions of the state, the establishment of obstetrics and gynecology medical institutions to deliver babies, abortion, the implementation of family planning surgery; (Foreign hospitals can also be reimbursed! )
3, in line with national, provincial and municipal family planning laws and regulations; (That is to say, as long as it conforms to the basic national policy, the second child can also be accepted. )
4. Time limit for applying for benefits: applications will only be accepted from15th of the month following the birth, and those who fail to apply in time for more than six months will no longer be accepted. (Remember: overdue! )
Third, after giving birth, if you want to receive the money, you need to prepare the following information.
(1) social security card for maternity workers and UnionPay savings card supporting identity verification;
(2) the original and photocopy of the family planning certificate (i.e. birth service certificate or birth permit);
(3) The original and photocopy of the birth medical certificate issued by the medical institution;
(4) Original and photocopy of medical bills (invoices), original and photocopy of corresponding expense summary list, and original and photocopy of discharge summary (discharge record);
(5) Application Form for Maternity Allowance for Employees (in duplicate).

Article 25 of the Population and Family Planning Law of the People's Republic of China * * * Couples who give birth to children according to laws and regulations can get extended maternity leave or other welfare benefits.
Article 7 of the "Special Provisions on Labor Protection of Female Employees" allows female employees to enjoy 98 days of maternity leave, including 15 days before delivery; In case of dystocia, maternity leave shall be increased 15 days; For multiple births, the maternity leave can be increased by 1 5 days for each additional child. Female employees who miscarry less than 4 months after pregnancy are entitled to 15 days maternity leave; Abortion after 4 months of pregnancy is entitled to 42 days of maternity leave.

Fifty-sixth employees in any of the following circumstances, can enjoy maternity allowance in accordance with state regulations:
(1) Female employees enjoy maternity leave;
(2) Enjoy family planning operation leave;
(3) Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.
Maternity allowance is calculated and paid according to the average monthly salary of employees in the previous year of the employer.
