Fujian Sanming social security 2019 minimum contribution standard

According to the Notice of the Fujian Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security on the Announcement of the Annual Average Wage of On-Going Employees of Urban Units in the Province in 2016 (Min Renmin Wen [2015] No. 146), the annual average wage of on-going employees of urban units in Fujian Province in 2016 (excluding Xiamen) was 47,638 yuan, which means that the average monthly wage of the employees in the year of 2016 was 3,970 yuan. According to Article 14 of the Regulations on Basic Pension Insurance for Employees of Urban Enterprises in Fujian Province, the base for the payment of basic pension insurance premiums by employees of an enterprise shall not be lower than the minimum wage standard for local employees as announced by the provincial government; if it reaches more than 300% of the average monthly wage of employees in the previous year in the province, 300% shall be taken as the base for the payment of basic pension insurance premiums, and the portion of the amount above 300% shall not be subject to the payment of basic pension insurance premiums. Starting from July 1, 2016, the maximum ceiling of the base for basic pension insurance payment by enterprises was raised from 10,809 yuan/month to 11,910 yuan/month. According to the 2016 average annual salary of urban unit on-the-job workers in Sanming City published by the Sanming Bureau of Statistics, the annual average salary of urban unit on-the-job workers in Sanming City in 2016 was RMB 47,374, i.e., the average monthly salary of employees for the year 2016 was RMB 3,948. According to the Regulations on Work-Related Injury Insurance, the maximum monthly contribution base for work-related injuries and maternity in 2016 shall not be higher than 300% of the average monthly salary of employees in the previous year, i.e. RMB11,844/month, and the minimum monthly contribution base shall not be lower than 60% of the average monthly salary of employees in the previous year, i.e. RMB2,369/month. It will be implemented from July 1, 2016.For employees who have been insured before June 30, 2016, the revision of the minimum and maximum contribution base limit for basic pension, work injury and maternity insurance will be adjusted uniformly by the Information Section of the Sanming Social Security Center in the sub-system of the work injury and maternity insurance by June 30, 2016, and it will be implemented from July 1, 2016 onwards.
