How to handle the endowment insurance for rural to urban areas?

Rural old-age insurance can be converted into urban residents' old-age insurance, but its procedures are different in different regions.

Take Chongqing as an example:

In accordance with the Notice of the General Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government on Printing and Distributing the Implementation Measures for Social Security in Chongqing's Urban and Rural Household Registration System Reform (for Trial Implementation) (No.202 of Chongqing Office [2010]) and Opinions on Issues Related to Chongqing's Rural Residents' Changing into Urban Residents to Participate in the Basic Old-age Insurance (in People's Social Development [20 10] 182) That is, after August 1 day, 2065438, among the people who have changed from rural residents to urban residents in this city, those who have reached the age of 16, and those who have changed to urban residents and withdrawn from the homestead can voluntarily choose to participate in the basic old-age insurance for rural retirees from the month when they receive the compensation for the withdrawal of the homestead.

Handler:

Those who choose to participate in the basic old-age insurance for rural residents who have left the city shall apply for the basic old-age insurance at the social security service office where their household registration is located with the Confirmation Form for Rural Residents to Become Urban Residents issued by the public security organ, the relevant procedures for withdrawing from the homestead to receive compensation fees, and four copies of their ID cards, household registration books and photos, and fill out the Application Form for Chongqing Transfer Personnel to Participate in the Basic Old-age Insurance and the Entrustment Agreement for Chongqing Transfer Personnel to Pay the Basic Old-age Insurance Fee.

According to the Notice of Chongqing Municipal People's Government on Launching the Pilot Work of Social Endowment Insurance for Urban and Rural Residents (Yu Fu Fa [2009] No.85), I participated in the endowment insurance for urban and rural residents in the social security office where my household registration is located.
