I work in a company, and social security won't let the company pay. Can I pay in full in my own name?

Not worth it.

First, individuals who participate in social insurance can only participate in pension and medical care, and other work-related injuries, maternity and unemployment cannot participate.

Second, take pension insurance as an example. If the company pays your salary, suppose your salary is 2,000 yuan, you only need to pay 8% to 160 yuan, while the company pays 20% to 400 yuan, making a total of 28%, of which 8% is credited to your account. In this way, your personal pension insurance account has 160 yuan. If the individual pays, 20% will be paid, including 400 yuan, of which 8% will be 160 yuan. Personally, you only need to pay 160 yuan for the former, and 400 yuan for the latter. Their retirement benefits are exactly the same.

Third, your personal contribution can't be counted as the unit, so social insurance will punish the unit accordingly.
