How to stop paying social security?
1. If you leave your previous company:
The termination of social security is handled by the unit, and the unit can handle the resignation procedures (termination of labor relations agreement).
2. If the insurance is terminated by an individual:
Just bring your ID card and fill out a form at the Social Security Bureau.
3. If the employee resigns:
After the employee resigns, he/she should go to the Labor Bureau for unemployment certificate and unemployment registration. Then you can go to the social security bureau to handle the personal transfer procedures and pay the social security yourself.
Preparation materials for stopping payment of social security:
1. application form for termination of insurance for independent individuals (in duplicate);
2. The original and photocopy of the household registration book (or personal ID card);
3. If acting as an agent, it is also necessary to provide the original and photocopy of the agent's ID card or the official seal of the village neighborhood committee (referring to the village neighborhood committee handling individual insurance and insurance suspension in batches).

Article 58

Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration.
The state establishes a national unified personal social security number.
Personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.
