Guilin social security card can't be used in pharmacies all over the country, and the social security card has no national network, so the local social security card can only be used locally. If you apply for social security at work, you can only use it locally.

Activate social security card:

1. The social security card has the functions of medical insurance settlement and banking finance, and needs to be activated separately before it can be used.

2. Activation of medical insurance settlement function: the cardholder carries the social security card to the designated pharmacy or hospital for activation, and sets a new password of the social security card or extends the password of the original medical insurance card.
