An insured male employee is entitled to the stipulated vacation allowance for caretaker's leave, which is based on the average monthly salary of on-the-job employees in the previous year in the coordinating area to which he belongs, and is payable in accordance with the stipulated period of leave.

Article 56

When an employee is in one of the following situations, he or she shall be entitled to maternity allowance in accordance with the state regulations:

(1) female workers enjoying maternity leave for giving birth;

(2) enjoying leave for family-planning surgery;

(3) other situations stipulated by laws and regulations. Maternity allowance is paid in accordance with the average monthly salary of the employees of the employer where the employee works in the previous year.
