According to the general requirements of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China on establishing a unified national social insurance service platform, and the Guiding Opinions of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security on Establishing a Unified National Social Insurance Service Platform, and the deployment arrangements of the 11th Party Congress and the Provincial Reform Commission on accelerating the construction of a unified social insurance service platform in the whole province, Baishan Jiangyuan Social Security has been unified.

Jiangyuan District is one of the two urban areas in baishan city. It is located in the southeast of Jilin Province, west of baishan city, adjacent to Fusong County in the east, Liuhe County in the northwest, Hunjiang District in the southwest, Linjiang City in the south and Jingyu County in the north, with a total area of 1348 square kilometers.
