Do you pay unemployment benefits to social security and medical insurance?

Workers may not pay social security during the period of receiving unemployment benefits. Social security generally includes medical insurance, so they may not pay medical insurance. However, if the insured person wants to pay social security, he can also pay social security fees in his personal capacity according to law, but he can only pay pension insurance premiums and medical insurance premiums.

How should I receive unemployment benefits?

1. Within 15 days before the termination of the labor contract, the company will send personnel to the social security bureaus where unemployment insurance is paid to handle unemployment registration;

2. According to the regulations of the Social Security Bureau, individuals who have paid unemployment insurance benefits for more than 1 year can apply for unemployment benefits if they meet the conditions for receiving them;

3. In the process of filing, the employer needs to submit four materials to the Social Security Bureau and affix the official seal of the unit. These four materials are: the notice of dismissal issued by employees and related files, unemployment certificates, unemployment registration forms, and routine official documents from the company to the Social Security Bureau.

4. After reviewing the unemployment registration, the Social Security Bureau will notify the unemployed to go to training, receive unemployment benefits and apply for post certificates.

5. After the unemployed and the employing unit terminate or terminate the employment relationship, they shall go to the relevant departments of the street (town) where the household registration is located for unemployment registration and apply for unemployment insurance benefits with the audit documents and the vocational guidance and training card, household registration book, ID card and three one-inch bareheaded photos issued by the Social Security Bureau.

Receiving unemployment benefits will not have a very serious impact on the future. Belonging to the nature of social security, you don't have to pay the old-age insurance premium during the period of receiving unemployment benefits, but you don't have to pay or calculate the payment period, and your retirement benefits will also be reduced. The only impact is that if you receive unemployment benefits, that is, you are unemployed, the old-age insurance must have been interrupted, which will affect the length of pension payment.
