Process of employees applying for social security for the first time:
1. Original or photocopy of the ID card of the employed person;
2. Unemployed workers must provide the original of the Unemployment Certificate or the Manual of Labor and Social Security;
3, "employment registration roster" in duplicate (unemployed workers in triplicate);
4. Registration form for employees;
5. Labor contract;
6. Electronic file of labor contract information management report;
7. One-inch photo.
To sum up, the employer shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.
