Social security can be suspended for a maximum of 3 months.

According to the relevant provisions of the state, the employer does not apply for social insurance for employees to participate in contributions, shall bear the following civil liability:

1, the employer does not apply for basic pension insurance for employees and pay the full amount of contributions by the employer to pay since the month of employment of the employees to make up for the basic pension insurance premiums the unit should be responsible for the costs or can not make up for the basic pension premiums of the workers If the employer does not apply for basic medical insurance for the employee or stops paying basic medical insurance premiums without authorization, and the employee falls ill, the employer shall pay the medical expenses in accordance with the standard of basic medical insurance;

3. If the employer does not take part in work-related injury insurance or stops paying work-related injury insurance premiums without authorization, and the employee suffers a work-related accident, the employer shall pay the medical expenses in accordance with the standard of basic medical insurance. In the event of a work-related accident, the employer shall pay the costs in accordance with the items and standards of work-related injury insurance treatment stipulated in the Regulations on Work-related Injury Insurance;

4. If an employer fails to participate in the unemployment insurance in accordance with the regulations or ceases to pay the unemployment insurance premiums without authorization, resulting in the employee not being able to enjoy the benefits of the unemployment insurance after becoming unemployed, the employer shall bear the responsibility of compensating for the loss. The standard of compensation shall be two times the amount of the unemployment insurance benefit or one-time living allowance that the unemployed person should receive;

5. If the employer does not participate in maternity insurance or stops paying the maternity insurance premiums without authorization, the medical expenses for the birth of a female worker, such as abortion, and the maternity allowance during the period of maternity leave, shall be paid by the employer in accordance with the items and standards of treatment stipulated in the maternity insurance.

Article 63 If an employer fails to pay the social insurance premiums in full and on time, it shall be ordered by the social insurance premium collection agency to pay the premiums in full and on time.

If the employer fails to pay the social insurance premiums in full or on time, the social insurance premium collection agency may inquire into the deposit accounts of the employer's banks and other financial institutions; it may also apply to the relevant administrative departments at or above the county level to make a decision on the allocation of social insurance premiums, and notify in writing the banks or other financial institutions where the employer's accounts are maintained of the allocation of the social insurance premiums. If the balance in the account of an employer is less than the social insurance premiums that should be paid, the social insurance premium collection agency may require the employer to provide a guarantee and sign an agreement on deferring the payment of the premiums.

If the employer fails to pay the social insurance premiums in full and does not provide a guarantee, the social insurance premium collection agency may apply to the people's court for the seizure, attachment or auction of the property whose value is equivalent to the social insurance premiums that should be paid, and the proceeds from the auction will be used to offset the payment of social insurance premiums.
