Secondly, if you are a freelancer and also have a local urban household registration in Changzhou, you can go to the Changzhou Social Security Center with your ID card and household registration book to go through the procedures of making social security contributions for freelancers.

If you don't have a local urban household registration, you can't pay the social security by yourself, you must pay it through your company. You can consult with the Changzhou Talent Exchange Center to see if the center can help you with social security payment services.
