How to activate the new social security card in Dongguan?

To activate a new medical insurance card:

1. Take the old card and the new card to the issuing bank.

2. The password of the new medical insurance card is six digits from the second digit of the ID number from the back to the front, and the password can be reset at the same time of activation.

3. Part of the money (from the old card) can be withdrawn (it can also be used as the cost of swiping the card in the future), and it can't be taken out under any circumstances.

4. After the old card is activated, the new card can no longer be used (it will be processed at the same time when activated).
