1. Cardholders can call the social security card service hotline "96102" (24-hour service) to report the loss in advance.

2. You can also go through the written pre-loss reporting procedures at the social security card service outlets with your resident ID card or residence booklet, or directly report the loss at the self-service terminals set up at the social security card service outlets and designated medical institutions above the second level. The effective time of pre-loss reporting is 10 day, and it will be automatically released after the effective time limit.

3. If the loss-reporting person determines that the lost social security card cannot be recovered, he/she needs to report the loss to the social security card service outlets with his/her resident ID card and go through the formalities for replacing the card; /kloc-After 0/5 working days, the applicant holds his/her resident ID card or household registration book, and the certificate of new card and replacement card.
