Can I use a social security card for Kunshan maternity check-up?

If you pay supplementary endowment insurance, that is, the social security bureau will transfer a certain amount to the card every month. This is supplementary old-age insurance. You can use this card for birth check. (because you paid all the money)

If you pay the basic medical expenses, you don't need a social security card for the birth check. It can only be used for maternity insurance reimbursement after delivery.

Maternity medical expenses reimbursement procedures:

Application conditions: Only when the insured meets the following conditions can he enjoy the reimbursement of maternity medical expenses:

(1) conforms to the national, provincial and municipal family planning policies (excluding remedial measures for unplanned pregnancy);

(2) The insured has continuously paid the basic medical insurance premium for more than 6 months (inclusive) on the date of production (subject to the date of birth of the fetus or newborn), and paid the medical insurance premium on time 1 month before delivery. Insured persons who have paid basic medical insurance premiums for less than 6 months in a row cannot enjoy maternity medical treatment; If the basic medical insurance premium has been paid continuously for less than 6 months 12 months, it will be paid at 30% of the quota standard; If the basic medical insurance premium has been paid continuously for more than 12 months, it shall be paid according to 100% of the quota standard.

Reimbursement conditions of maternity insurance: Only those who have paid social security 12 months continuously (the interruption is not more than 3 months, which is considered as continuous) and still paid social security 1 month before delivery can be reimbursed 100% of the national standard.

The inspection fee before production is not included in the reimbursement scope. Only expenses during the production period can be reimbursed.
