Can social security reimburse the medical examination expenses?

Legal analysis: Generally speaking, social security cards cannot be used for physical examination. Items beyond the scope of medical insurance reimbursement: items: special medical services such as registration fee, out-of-hospital consultation fee, medical record fee, urgent examination and treatment fee, roll call surcharge, high quality and good price fee, and self-invited special care. Non-disease treatment items: all kinds of weight loss, weight gain and height increase items such as beauty, bodybuilding, non-functional cosmetic surgery, orthopedic surgery, health examination, preventive health care diagnosis and treatment items: all kinds of medical consultation and medical appraisal.

Legal basis: Article 28 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) conforms to the basic medical insurance drug list, diagnosis and treatment items, medical service facilities standards and emergency and rescue medical expenses, and shall be paid from the basic medical insurance fund in accordance with state regulations.
