Can rural hukou pay social security?

Rural hukou refers to the hukou type corresponding to "urban hukou" in areas where the household registration management system is reformed and "agricultural registered permanent residence" and "non-agricultural registered permanent residence" are abolished. According to the classification of hukou by the public security department, there are only two types of hukou, agricultural registered permanent residence and non-agricultural registered permanent residence. Later, non-agricultural registered permanent residence was described as urban hukou or urban hukou.
