How to use the new social security card in Hefei

Objects

In 2014, Hefei issued a new social security card (financial services card), the old version of the IC medical insurance card Hefei residents can not change the card for the time being, the old card can still be used. Hefei may start the old card by the end of 2015.

Hefei 2014 financial social security card main issuance object:

New urban and rural residents pension insurance and new urban residents health insurance group.

People who participate in urban and rural residents' pension insurance or enjoy urban and rural residents' pension insurance benefits in urban areas and retired staff of enterprises under socialized management at the municipal level.

On Nov. 3, 2014, the city will start the data collection of financial social security cards for those who participate in social insurance for urban workers in the social security agencies of five counties and cities (Changfeng County, Feidong County, Feixi County, Lujiang County and Chaohu City).

People who participate in social insurance for urban workers in their personal capacity will be able to do so with their own valid IDs at the data collection points in the counties (cities), and the person acting on their behalf will need to bring valid IDs for both parties.

Enterprise retirees enjoying pension benefits, with their own valid ID (the agent needs to bring both valid ID), to the designated location for data collection.

Processing

1.Each collection object can bring the ID card or household register to the collection point to confirm personal information, for data collection business.

2. The data collection staff is responsible for checking the information on the collection forms of the insured persons in the jurisdiction, filling in the collection forms according to the standard, collecting the photos of the insured persons and pasting them.

Processing time limit and fees

Processing time limit: Hefei's new social security card (financial social security card) card production cycle takes 3-4 months, the specific issuance of the collection time will be announced.

Processing fees: The first issuance of a new card is free, and the first replacement of an old card is free.

Note: Hefei residents with old IC health insurance cards have no plans to replace their cards for the time being, and the old cards can still be used. The old card may be replaced by the end of 2015.
