I hurt my hand at work. How to pay for social security?

If a work-related injury occurs during work and the company fails to purchase social security for its employees, it may require the company to bear the work-related injury insurance premium in accordance with the Regulations on Work-related Injury Insurance. According to the provisions of the first and second paragraphs of Article 62 of the Regulations on Work-related Injury Insurance, if the employing unit fails to participate in work-related injury insurance in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance, the social insurance administrative department shall order it to participate within a time limit, pay back the work-related injury insurance premium that should be paid, and pay a late fee of five ten thousandths per day from the date of default; Failing to pay within the time limit, a fine of 1 times shall be imposed. If an employee of an employer who should participate in work-related injury insurance in accordance with the provisions of these regulations suffers from work-related injuries, the employer shall pay the fees in accordance with the treatment items and standards of work-related injury insurance stipulated in these regulations.

Legal objectivity:

Article 33 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), employees shall participate in work-related injury insurance, and the employer shall pay the work-related injury insurance premium, while employees shall not pay the work-related injury insurance premium. Article 35 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the employing unit shall pay the work-related injury insurance premium according to the total wages of its employees and the rate determined by the social insurance agency. Article 58 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for employees. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.
