How to apply for medical insurance in Urumqi?

1. Urban and rural residents are insured year by year and enjoy the medical insurance benefits in the corresponding social security year, so as long as the parties want to enjoy the benefits, they need to pay their own fees;

2. According to Article 8 of the local medical insurance policy for urban and rural residents, participating in the basic medical insurance for urban and rural residents with the family as the unit shall be handled according to the following procedures:

(a) to the residence booklet, copy of ID card and video materials, recent bareheaded one-inch color photos to the street (township) community (village) labor security office (station) where the residence is located, and fill in the registration form;

(two) street (township) community (village) labor and social security office (station) to conduct a preliminary examination of the application materials, after summarizing and cataloguing, to the district (county) social insurance agencies for qualification examination;

(three) after the examination and confirmation, go through the insurance formalities, and pay the individual contribution part of the basic medical insurance premium by providing bank card withholding or direct payment.
