Conditions and procedures for handling Shanghai residence permit

Persons coming to Shanghai who have left their permanent residence and registered in this city for half a year and meet one of the conditions of legally stable employment, legally stable residence and continuous study can apply for residence permits in accordance with these measures.

Handling materials

Treatment process

4. After receiving the application materials, the community affairs acceptance service center will issue an acceptance receipt of the Shanghai Residence Permit with complete materials; If the materials are incomplete, inform the applicant to fill in the materials on the spot.
