How long can I be hospitalized after social security payment?

Legal analysis: there is no clear stipulation that the next month of general payment can be reimbursed. If a company pays social security, the insurance payment will take effect the next month. Individuals generally have to wait half a year to enjoy medical insurance benefits. If it is after the social security payment, the outpatient, emergency and inpatient medical expenses incurred six months after the payment month can be paid by the basic medical insurance fund according to the medical insurance reimbursement standard.

Legal basis: Article 29 of the Social Insurance Law stipulates that the part of the insured's medical expenses that should be paid by the basic medical insurance fund shall be directly settled by social insurance agencies, medical institutions and pharmaceutical trading units.

The administrative department of social insurance and the administrative department of health shall establish a settlement system for medical expenses in different places to facilitate the insured to enjoy the basic medical insurance benefits.
