Legal basis

Article 39 of the Regulations on Work-Related Injury Insurance

When an employee dies at work, his next of kin will receive a funeral grant, a dependant's pension and a one-time work-related death grant from the Work-Related Injury Insurance Fund in accordance with the following provisions:

(1) the funeral grant is six months of the average monthly salary of the employees of the co-ordinated area in the previous year;

(2) the funeral grant is the average monthly salary of the employees of the co-ordinated area in the previous year; and (B) the dependent relatives pension in accordance with a certain percentage of the employee's own wages to the employee died at work to provide the main source of living, incapable of labor relatives.
