Main responsibilities:

( 1)

To implement the principles, policies, laws and regulations of labor and social security work and the overall plan for the reform of labor and social security system, prepare the development plan and work plan of labor and social security in the whole city and organize their implementation.

(2)

To draft local laws and regulations on labor and social security, organize their implementation, supervision and inspection after promulgation, and be responsible for the management of labor and social security policy service consulting institutions;

(3)

Exercising the state power of supervision and inspection of labor and social security according to law, drafting the measures for supervision and inspection of labor and social security in the whole city, and supervising the work of the supervision and inspection institutions of labor and social security in the whole city;

(4)

Planning the development of the labor market, organizing the establishment and improvement of the service system, drawing up the draft plans and policies for the resettlement, basic living security and re-employment of laid-off workers of state-owned enterprises in the city, organizing the implementation of re-employment projects, and being responsible for the management of employment agencies;
