1. There is only one kind of social security card (including medical insurance): all IC cards are based on the ID code of the insured and the photo of my ID card, regardless of functions;

2. Under the premise that the parties meet the special medical insurance conditions of the domicile or residence, they can choose to participate in local special medical insurance;

3. Specific conditions and required documents, the parties may bring their valid ID cards, household registration books, social security cards, etc. And consult the staff of the social security department of the insured place in advance to make it clear.

The Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that:

Article 58 An employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.

Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration.

The state establishes a national unified personal social security number. Personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.
