Can I get a refund if I surrender my social security card?

According to the relevant laws and regulations, the money in the social security personal account cannot be withdrawn in advance. If the social security has been paid, it will not be surrendered, but will be moved and merged with the transfer of the work unit, and the pension insurance relationship will be transferred or continued. Even if you can't afford or don't want to pay social security, you can't return it. However, under some special circumstances, you can still refund the money, but only the part you paid in your personal account. If the conditions for surrender are met, the money can be taken out at one time. Social security can be surrendered, but only if the following surrender conditions are met:

1. Go abroad to settle down: go through the formalities of going abroad and cancel the domestic household registration;

2. Died before retirement, and the account was cancelled;

3. Repeated payment of social security and termination of labor relations;

4. Insufficient social security payment at retirement 15 years.

In the above four cases, you can apply for social security surrender.

Social security surrender shall be handled by the insured employee himself and shall not be collected on his behalf. Due to objective circumstances, it really needs someone else to collect it. You should go to the notary office where your household registration is located to obtain the entrustment certificate of relevant social insurance benefits, and provide the contact number of the notary office, the ID card of the agent and a copy, which I will handle in person.
