The financial function of the social security card refers to the normal use of the bank card when the social security card is used as a financial account, including credit card consumption, cash deposit, cash withdrawal and transfer. , as follows:

If the cardholder needs to activate the financial function of the social security card, he/she can go to the counter of any business hall of the social security card cooperative bank with the social security card, identity documents and other materials to go through the formalities for activating the financial account of the social security card;

2. The insured person needs to activate the social security card at the corresponding bank outlet with the original social security card and identity certificate, and the medical insurance account will return to normal after activation.

The employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.

Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration.
