Shanghai household registration social security was interrupted.

1. After the social security of the parties is interrupted, the function of the medical insurance card will be "frozen" from the date of interruption of payment, but the system data and payment period will not be cleared;

2, as long as the insured person in the medical insurance year (July of that year 1 day to June 30th of the following year) has been interrupted for no more than 3 months, you can continue to pay medical insurance premiums, and the continuous enrollment time before and after the interruption is combined (continuous payment). If it exceeds 3 months, you can only re-participate;

3. On the premise that the household registration of the party concerned is not in Shanghai, according to Article 5 of the document (Hu Fufa [20 12] 12), the interruption of the social security association will have an impact on the household registration of the party concerned (continuous payment is required for 7 years), and the party concerned can apply for moving into the household registration only if other conditions are met;

4. It is recommended that the parties bring their valid ID cards and social security cards. And specifically consult the staff of the social security department of the insured place.

The Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that:

Twenty-ninth medical expenses of the insured shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund, and shall be directly settled by the social insurance agency, medical institutions and pharmaceutical business units.

The administrative department of social insurance and the administrative department of health shall establish a settlement system for medical expenses in different places to facilitate the insured to enjoy the basic medical insurance benefits.
